I absolutely love doing my nails. I look forward to nail prep, creation and design. Before a week has even passed I’m already tired of the nails I’ve done and ready for something new. This is why I taught myself how to do a variety of nail techniques. I bounce between nail extensions, gel application on my natural nails, and good old fashioned nail polish. No matter what lies beneath the polish, I love to look at inspiration for nail trends season by season.

I’m almost disappointed that I just did my nails because these styles are calling my name! It can be overwhelming to try new styles that are unfamiliar to you, but practice makes perfect. You need nail polish, acetone, a toothpick or super slim brush and most especially… time! Having gel polish and a UV lamp can speed up your process, but traditional nail polish can work as well, you just need more drying time or a super speed top coat. I like Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat to seal my designs. I usually use regular polish when I apply nail tip extensions to my nails.
